A community-led plan for Ireby & Uldale: come and join us!

Ireby & Uldale
Towards a Community-Led Plan…
Come and join us on Saturday, 10th May
!

Join us on Saturday 10th May to celebrate what we love about Ireby and Uldale!

The children of Ireby CoE School have made a good start.  Come and see what they've told us.

Ireby & Uldale Parish Council is working alongside ACTion with Communities in Cumbria to enable residents to create a Community-Led Plan: a statement of how the community sees itself developing over the next few years that helps us to understand local needs, set priorities and plan for the future.   And we need your help.

We want to share what's happening, hear what you have to say and, if you'd like to get more involved, invite you to join an independent steering group to make it all happen. It's also an opportunity to hear about how we're working with Lake District National Park's Local Plan

Many areas in Cumbria have already developed community-led plans.    Some examples you might like to look at are those plans produced by:

Would you like to be involved in the development of such a plan for Ireby & Uldale?

We're holding two drop-in sessions at The Globe Hall, Ireby, 10 am - 12 noon  and 2 pm - 4 pm on Saturday 10th May

Open to anyone living in the Ireby & Uldale Parish.       Free refreshments will be available.

If you can't make that date, you can express your interest now by:

  • sending an email with your contact details to CLP@ireby-and-uldale.org.uk; or

  • talking with one of your Parish Councillors; or

  • writing to the Parish Council Clerk, Mrs J Rae, 23 Chapel Meadows, Bothel, CA7 2AB

The development of a Community-Led Plan is facilitated by Ireby & Uldale Parish Council with the support of ACTion with communities in Cumbria and other bodies.
